The Grand Dance
Four Strings provided a string quartet for the wedding of Kim Coake and Paul Filosi on Saturday 19 May 2012 at the Tribute Golf Club in The Colony, TX. In addition to music for the ceremony, the quartet remained to provide entertainment for the reception, held on the 3rd floor patio.
Ceremony music was drawn from the traditional set with one notable exception. This was the first ceremony to feature The Grand Dance from King Arthur (H. Purcell), a beautiful baroque chaconne recently arranged for the quartet by cellist David Cason.
