Four Strings provided a string quartet for the 13 October 2012 wedding and reception of Melanie Lindwall and Derek Schaab, held at a private residence in Melissa, TX.

Music was mostly traditional, but included the Allegro from J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto 3 as the Recessional.

Four Strings returned to the Bella Donna Chapel for the second time in less than a week, providing a string quartet for the 11 October 2012 wedding of Candice Nelson and Anthony Pan. An unusual Thursday wedding, the date was chosen for its auspicious character (10/11/12).

Prelude and ceremony music was classical but spiced with romantic favorites from opera and film.

Four Strings provided a string quartet for the 6 Oct 2012 wedding of Amber Bernard and Christopher Moore, held at the Bella Donna Chapel in McKinney TX.

The music for the prelude and ceremony featured three arrangements of Journey hits, especially selected by the groom, and arranged for the quartet by David Cason.

Four Strings provided a string quartet for the 29 September 2012 wedding of Natalie Booth and Joshua Morgan, held at the First Presbyterian Church in Plano, TX.

The ceremony music included the opening strains of the Brahms Violin Sonata No. 1 as a bridal processional, and the well-suited first movement of the Grieg Holberg Suite as recessional. To match this mood, the prelude music was drawn primarily from the Romantic era, though featuring several rarely-heard composers and works.

Four Strings provided a string quartet for the 16 September 2012 Wedding of Megan Buck and Martin Lopez, held in Rosine Hall at the Dallas Arboretum in Dallas, TX.

While the prelude music was classical, the ceremony featured the alt-rock standards Yellow and Bittersweet Symphony, as well as the debut of a new arrangement–Swell Season’s Falling Slowly–which made for a gorgeous bridal processional.
